About the role

Are you an experienced Carpenter/Construction Supervisor looking for a new challenge? This contract opportunity with a leading Private Company in Adelaide, SA. It will be a hybrid home where there will be some carpentry work involved as well as site supervision of a number of residential single and double story new builds. Working under an A

What you'll be doing

  • Carpentry works will consist of the following:
  • 2nd fix, eaves, cladding, light patch work, straightening studs, bulkheads and small works
  • Site supervision will consist of the following:
  • Oversee trade quality, calling up trades and materials. Walking the site daily looking for solutions or works that can be done to keep the projects moving forward.
  • Site safety works, eg is the site secure, safe, clean etc
  • Identify and address any safety, quality or compliance issues on site
  • Provide hands-on carpentry work as needed to support the construction team
  • Create and maintain detailed records, reports and documentation
  • Someone that can assist with " boots on the ground"

What we're looking for

  • Qualified carpenter & Residential site supervision experience
  • Someone interested in a hybrid role of half carpentry half site supervision
  • ABN & own insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
  • Relevant trade qualifications and construction industry certifications
  • Willingness to work flexibly across construction sites in the local area
