Overview

National RTO Manager is required for a market-leading training organisation based in our Eastern Suburbs. This is an opportunity to join a top tier mining contractor as their National RTO Manager. Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you will lead this state-of-the-art institute driving innovation, compliance and performance both with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

- Leading contemporary performance across Health and Safety, Pre-Trade and Trade qualifications including VET assessments
- Managing a team of trainers, instructional designers, and learning and development professionals
- Maintaining the positive branding of the RTO both internally and externally
- Leading compliance and quality assurance
- Conducting internal reviews and management of external audits
- Driving digital transformation and contemporary training and learning practices
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement, including ASQA and DTWD
- Maintaining ISO9001 accreditation

Qualifications and experience

- Proven leader within an RTO environment with comprehensive knowledge of the National VET framework
- Extensive background from within an RTO providing services to the mining or a related sector
- Qualified with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Evidence of managing multi-functional teams and driving capability improvement
- Proficiency in current digital systems and ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
