SCHOOL BASED TRAINEE – ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

We are offering a School Based Traineeship for a passionate and reliable high school student to join our team as an Administration Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a professional office environment.

What you will be doing:

- Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources sections and Governance teams

- Assisting with general office duties (filing, scanning, data entry)

- Using Microsoft Office and internal systems

- Assist in the preparation of meeting rooms and arrange meeting/training venues as required.

What you will gain:

- a Certificate III in Business (or equivalent)

- Paid part‑time work while completing your HSC

Remuneration:

In accordance with clause 32D of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

To be successful in this position:

- Be a current high school student commencing year 11 in 2026,

- Have strong communication and organisational skills

- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Be reliable and able to manage school and work commitments

- Have basic computer skills
