SCHOOL BASED TRAINEE – ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

We are offering a School Based Traineeship for a passionate and reliable high school student to join our team as an Administration Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional office environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources sections and Governance teams
  • Assisting with general office duties (filing, scanning, data entry)
  • Using Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting rooms and arrange meeting/training venues as required.

What you will gain:

Remuneration:

In accordance with clause 32D of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

To be successful in this position:

  • Be a current high school student commencing year 11 in 2026,
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Be reliable and able to manage school and work commitments
  • Have basic computer skills
