Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases to ensure their reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database architecture and administration.
- Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with backup and recovery strategies, replication, and high availability setups.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming.
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design best practices.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL tools and utilities (e.g., pgAdmin, psql).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Professional) are a plus.
