Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Melbourne

Permanent Role.

Job Description:

Must have extensive work experience with the latest Oracle Database version 19C

  • Technical knowledge in Oracle Exadata
  • Administration works on Exadata different rack version environment.
  • Expertise Design and implementation of multi-node RAC DB along with standby databases (Oracle Data Guard).
  • Expert knowledge on GoldenGate with single-handed issue-solving capability
  • Experience on different types of Data Guards (LDG, ODG & ADG)
  • Expert knowledge on Performance tuning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Good to have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within deadlines, and the quality of deliverables meets client expectations
  • Proficiency in gathering and assessing requirements from functional business owners
  • Experience with the Service-Now(Snow) tool for service management

Support business teams alongside the other IT SAP operations team

Perform root cause analysis on persistent or major database-related problems

Perform database Refresh activities

Perform database patching activities

Support and promote integration relationships between IT and business functions

Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned

Provide end-user support, especially during Month end close

Continues Service Improvements
