The Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Community Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals to live independently and participate in their community, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide community access and support participation in social, recreational, civic and vocational activities.
2. Engage with and support individuals using a person-centred approach and ensure that people using the service access services and support that respect their goals, strengths and needs.
3. Assist customers to develop skills, build capacity and actively participate in all aspects of life including activities of daily living, personal and health care, household management and community engagement.
4. Maintain accurate customer records to ensure individualised support.
5. Build strong, professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.

About you

1. Passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live independently.
2. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to person-centred care.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
6. Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (preferred) or relevant experience.
7. A valid Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2) and comprehensive car insurance.
8. Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
9. NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (paid worker).
10. Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete).
11. Good computer skills and demonstrated ability to use IT systems.
12. Reliable smartphone.
