In this role, you’ll take ownership of workshop maintenance, parts storage, and general operational support, while ensuring our team can focus on what they do best - servicing vehicles. If you’re practical, organized, and enjoy keeping things in top shape, this could be the perfect fit.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Daily registering and tagging of all warranty parts for return or disposal
- Maintaining a well‑organised and compliant warranty parts store
- Cleaning and upkeep of workshop equipment, walkways, and communal areas to meet OHS standards
- Supporting pre‑delivery and workshop operations with general warehousing and yard duties
- Reporting defects and damage around the workshop area
- Maintaining accurate records in line with VGA and VCVA standards
- Participating in recycling and environmental initiatives
- Contributing to a safe, clean, and efficient workplace
Your future team
You’ll be part of a tight‑knit, supportive team that values collaboration, cleanliness, and a proactive attitude. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll also work closely with parts interpreters, technicians, and the warranty administration team.
Who are you?
You’re practical, hands‑on, and thrive in a busy workshop setting. You’ll bring:
- Mechanical, trade, or workshop experience (auto trade not essential)
- Forklift licence highly desirable
- Strong practical problem‑solving skills and ability to fix things independently
- Experience with workshop tools and basic machinery
- Team player with a proactive “can‑do” attitude
- Basic computer skills for record‑keeping
- Understanding of workshop safety and OHS standards
What’s in it for you?
We offer a solid package of compensation and benefits, plus you will enjoy:
- Permanent, full‑time role
- Clean and modern workshop facilities
- Generous parental leave program
- Access to Sonder – our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family
- Work with one of the most respected names in global transport
Ready for the next move?
