Maintenance Planner

About the Role

NRW Holdings (ASX: NWH) is a diversified, Australian-owned contractor offering services to the Mining and Civil Infrastructure sectors.

This position is accountable for the preparation and communication of project-based short term maintenance plans. The primary aim of the role is to support site-based maintenance leaders in the execution of service schedules and maintenance backlogs. The role is responsible for the creation of a rolling weekly maintenance plan and will work in conjunction with the site-based maintenance teams to ensure the AMT data base is a true and correct representation of the site’s maintenance reliability. The role is responsible to ensure all maintenance related documentation is completed in accordance with the requirements of the NRW Maintenance Management Plan and related Statutory obligations.

Responsibilities

- Preparation, planning and issuing of short-term maintenance schedules.
- Carry out site-based machine inspections.
- Create, review and update service sheets, refit BOM’s and other related asset management documentation
- Work with site teams to overcome resourcing constraints
- Procurement and expedition of the resources required to execute maintenance plans
- Ensure maintenance backlogs are considered for the inclusion in scheduled downtime events
- Maintain direct lines of communication with suppliers to ensure components, parts and refit kits are available for all planned repairs
- Maintain accurate records in all related equipment databases
- Manage, plan and communicate compliance to statutory requirements for all fleet
- Publish weekly planning compliance reports
- Work in conjunction with long term planning to include backlog maintenance into the major component change out plans
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level

To be considered for this position you will require

- Australian Recognised Mechanical/Electrical Trade Certificate or relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in either the Civil or Mining sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate equipment downtime
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and exposure to CMMS systems
- Exposure to fleet planning and maintenance of large Civil and Mining fleets (Desired)
- Proficient in the use of the RPM Global computerised maintenance management application AMT (Desired)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to confidently negotiate.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
