Mater Research is looking for expressions of interest to join our Clinical Trials team Positions available include Research Nurse, Clinical Trial Coordinator, and Clinical Trial Assistant. These positions will vary across a number of clinical trial categories.

Mater conducts clinical trials in a range of therapeutic areas including Cancer, Neurology, Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, Acute Care, and Mothers’ and Babies Health. Clinical trials are an essential component of healthcare, providing the evidence to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new treatments and diagnostics, and offering alternative treatment options for patients with unmet needs.

Mater currently has over 200 active clinical trials, including commercial pharmaceutical and medical device studies, as well as collaborative group studies and investigator-initiated studies, led by Mater’s researchers and collaborators at The University of Queensland and other leading Australian and international medical research institutions.

Clinical Trials are divided into the following categories:
