Branch: Sevenoaks Senior College
Division: Independent Public School - South Metropolitan Education Region
Salary: Level 3, $137,428 - $150,385 per annum (pro‑rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026
Sevenoaks Senior College (SC) is a dynamic and inclusive place of learning located in Cannington, just southeast of Perth. Sevenoaks offers a unique model of 21st Century Senior Schooling as one of only two senior colleges in the metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to Year 11 and 12 students. Our commitment to personalised learning, cultural responsiveness, and future-focused education positions us as a leader in preparing our students as young adults for life beyond school.
Our vision for our students is: Find Your Future. To achieve this, we have established excellent partnerships with industry, training providers, employers and universities to ensure students are provided with every opportunity to explore a pathway that supports their future aspirations.
Our learning environment is culturally responsive, respectful, and values diversity in a young adult learning environment. Our young adult ethos prepares students for the world beyond school by gradually increasing their capacity to take on their responsibilities in the adult world.
Sevenoaks attracts students from across the Perth metropolitan area as prospective students seek out our unique pathway opportunities in an environment that meets their learning preferences.
Our partnerships with industry, training providers and business will be central to this role. Our partnerships foster local, national and global relationships in delivering pathway opportunities for our students who benefit from our strategic direction. Our consortium partnerships include Technical Education focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related pathways; Community Health and Education focusing on nursing, aged care and education pathways; and our collaboration with the WA Police to support pathways into this diverse field of work.
Another key focus area in this role is our Work Integrated Learning Model which delivers authentic learning opportunities that equip students with contemporary and emerging work capabilities, empowering them to shape their futures and succeed in current and future work environments. Aspects of this model include Workplace Learning, Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate delivery, micro-credentials and a range of training opportunities for all students through Technical and Further Education (TAFE), Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and industry.
You would work with other members of the College leadership team in implementing the College Business Plan and engaging with staff across the College and our partners to achieve the outcomes we seek for our students. You will be responsible for establishing and managing administrative and operational matters to ensure the effective operation of your portfolio within the school, in accordance with Department policies and guidelines.
