Job Details

ETL/Data Integration Developer engages in the design and the development of high-quality solutions in support of business and technical requirements. The role solves highly complex problems. The Developer arerequired for the development and delivery of complex reporting solutions sourced from data stored in Terada EDW, SAP, DB2 other environments.

Responsibilities

- Support the Data Curation Section in the delivery of data assets by contributing to improving data management capabilities, including building data integration applications that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data and metadata into data warehouses + Data Lake (RDBMS/HDFS)
- Undertake analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing and maintenance activities in a Teradata EDW environment
- Contribute to building and maintaining automated data integration applications by developing complex SQL programs within a Teradata EDW environment
- Perform analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions
- Ensure excellent data quality and high standards in Management Information solutions
- Development of ETL solutions using a variety of industry tools including SQL Assistant, Terada Studio Viewpoint, Pcom and Control-M
- Write/explain technical systems, problems and outcomes using unambiguous language to non-technical staff.

Knowledge / Qualifications

- Demonstrated 4+years' experience in at least one of the following tools: Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio
- A working knowledge of languages such as SQL, Unix, Linux and /or JCL and how to use it
- Demonstrated strong written communication skills explaining complex information using unambiguous language appropriate to the audience
- Proven experience in the use of ETL to Teradata environment
- Proven experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large and complex projects

Due to the nature of the role the candidate must be Australian Citizen with baseline clearance or with the ability to obtain and maintain it.
