We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse (Research) to join our dynamic team and contribute to advancing healthcare through innovative clinical research. Position Profile This is a 12-month fixed term appointment FTE 0.8 to FTE 1.0, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual the opportunity to develop their knowledge of research methodologies to facilitate and coordinate research projects and clinical trials within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Unit. The successful applicant will demonstrate a clear understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and its practical application to trial management. Key activities will include patient screening and recruitment, delivery and compliance of protocol approved interventions, accurate data collection, managing ethics and governance submissions, amendments, and safety reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements, and assisting with negotiation, preparation, and execution of study-related contracts. Knowledge of inflammatory bowel disease conditions, the WA Health Research Governance System (RGS), or previous experience undertaking clinical trials is desirable, but not essential.
