**About the Business Unit**:
WSU helps to protect children and vulnerable people from harm by checking a person's criminal history for relevant offending and findings from specific professional disciplinary bodies.

**About the Role**:
The role also includes representation of the Secretary to the Department of Government Services in litigation matters arising out of the _Worker Screening Act 2020_.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Technical legal skills with the ability to analyse legal issues, interpret legislation and develop accurate legal solutions. Experience providing legal advice in relation to public or administrative law matters, or in civil or criminal litigation. Experience in, or knowledge of, Victorian court processes.
- Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals; Share information and acknowledge others' efforts; Step in to help others where required.
