**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Risk & Resilience Manager, we are seeking a Compliance Advisor to support and facilitate compliance management activities throughout CleanCo. Joining a brand-new team & as the Compliance Advisor, you will play a critical role in linking strategic level requirements with operational and site activities, through collaboration and partnerships to assure regulatory and internal compliance, protecting and enhancing CleanCo's value.

As our Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for:

- Undertake activities, including projects, to support the enhancement of Compliance Management activities across CleanCo in alignment with our company strategies
- Undertake day to day activities to support Compliance Management requirements across CleanCo including support of operational and site Compliance activities, maintenance of Compliance registers, monitoring and review of Compliance obligations and active engagement with internal and external stakeholders as required to develop and enhance CleanCo’s Compliance performance and culture
- Monitor, identify and assess legislative and regulatory changes, provide detailed reporting and advice on changes, and work collaboratively with CleanCo stakeholders to implement any changes required
- Implement, review, and maintain Compliance Frameworks and tools
- Assess and provide compliance intelligence and performance data as required to inform management and stakeholders
- Administer, coordinate and support the effective operation and use of CleanCo’s Compliance IT System
- Provide input and advice to the Manager Risk and Resilience to enhance the Compliance Management across CleanCo
- Ensure compliance with public disclosure and regulatory reporting obligations, including upkeep of website information
- In partnership with People & Culture, monitor and provide advice on compliance and mandatory training for CleanCo

**About you**:

- At least 7 years experience in a similar compliance focused position
- Possess a strong understanding of compliance management principles and practices, compliance management frameworks
- Previous experience in the use of compliance IT systems
- Excellent verbal communication and engagement skills
- Strong report and process writing skills
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating compliance activities, development and maintenance of compliance registers, & monitoring of obligations
- You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of low emission, renewable, reliable, and affordable energy for Queensland
