THE ROLE

As the Program Assistant (Widening Participation), you will provide all-round administration support to the WPU team across various administrative functions to ensure effective day to day operations. This may also include assisting team members with administrative tasks to ensure the successful delivery and evaluation of WPU pre-access, access and participation programs and initiatives both on and off Wallumattagal Campus (North Ryde) with a focus on students from low SES backgrounds, students from regional and remote areas and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Reporting to the Widening Participation Administrator, you will:
- Provide all-round support to the WPU team across a broad range of administrative service functions including facilities management, travel and accommodation bookings, courier bookings and purchasing.- Provide support to the WPU team across finance functions (including raising invoices and generating finance enquiry reports).- Assist in raising awareness of the Unit’s programs and initiatives through our website and social media accounts including content creation and updates, planning and scheduling posts and collaborating with other team members to increase online engagement during program and event delivery.- Provide administrative assistance to the program team where needed, including liaising with internal stakeholders, to support the successful delivery of WPU initiatives (both on and off MQ Wallumattagal Campus).- Assist in the recruitment and training of student casuals, including overseeing daily tasks and event day supervision of these student casuals both on and offsite.- Assist in the maintenance of program participant and stakeholder records, including completed and/or verified WWCC, Appendix 11, privacy & consent forms, and dietary and accessibility requirements.- Assist in the management and coordination of the Unit’s fleet vehicles, including upkeep and maintenance as well as driving the vehicles to support with program delivery.- Support WPU evaluation functions through using designated software to input surveys and extract data reports, assisting in survey distribution and collection, and data entry.- Comply with relevant EEO and WHS regulations.- Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification.
