**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a confident, ambitious and motivated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator that can thrive in the role, and add value to the team while doing so. You will have Occupational Safety, Health and Environment qualifications.
- Based at our Major Hazard Facility (MHF) site at 351 Hammond Rd Dandenong South, with some travel to other sites within greater Melbourne.
- Salary $56.00 per hour, 40 hour week.
- Ongoing casual role.
- Requires knowledge of OHS, MHF and Dangerous Goods legislation.
- Experience in chemical/petroleum industries preferred.
**As a Health and Safety Coordinator, your key tasks will be to**:
- Support site and local managers with MHF program including management of MHF actions in our INTELEX system.
- Preparation and chairing of local MHF performance meetings.
- Chairing of monthly OHS meeting.
- Coordinating emergency exercises across a number of Victorian sites.
- Permit to work compliance checking across site permit issuers.
- Participating in site planned inspections.
- Assisting in contractor periodic management/safety reviews.
- Participation in safety case revision and risk review workshops.
- Support safety planning for high-risk work.
- Promptly investigating all safety related incidents and driving continuous improvement initiatives following incidents.
