About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving our client's Health, Safety, and Risk Management systems.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards. This includes conducting risk assessments, recommending solutions, and ensuring all operational procedures meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage occupational health and safety management plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments, recommend solutions, and ensure all operational procedures meet established standards.
  • Ensure health, safety, and risk services align with legislative requirements and company expectations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to enhance safety performance, develop policies, and maintain a safety-first culture.
  • Coordinate health and safety training programs, promoting a safety-conscious work environment through education and engagement.
  • Analyze data and trends, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to strengthen health, safety, and risk management processes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or significant experience in health, safety, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level advisory and consultancy services across an agricultural or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and risk management legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
