**About the business**:
The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project.

The Spark Consortium’s Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.

The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.

**About the role**:
We’re currently looking for a
**Quality Cage Inspector** who will be responsible for inspecting the products coming out of the facilities.

You would need to hold a ticket 10/level 10 welder licence and be able to read engineering drawings and use Excel (not expert). You would need to use computers to input the data of the quality check.

This role would be a pert-time, permanent role at approx. 20 hours a week.

This role requires for the person to move between two sites (15 mins between sites approx), and you would be provided with a vehicle to do so.

**About you**:

- You'll either have experience on the tools as a Level 10 Welder, or hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance], or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical information to cross-functional teams.
