Team Leader Inspections

Our client has been servicing the residential housing market for many years, they focus on new residential builds dealing directly with the builders. They are seeking a Senior Inspector to join the team in the role of Inspections Team Leader (North/West Region) on a permanent basis.
The Team Leader Inspections will be responsible for managing an Inspections team of and quite a number of project builder clients. You will have the ability to deliver on client expectations and manage the team to work towards high service levels. You will ensure the team maintains a high level of accuracy and service. meeting the targets set. You will be required to investigate escalated matters, carry out audits on your teams’ inspection processes, and carry out both mandatory and quality assurance inspections. You will be responsible for implementing a training program for your team and customers.
You must:
- Hold Building Inspector Registration with the VBA.
- Have Building Inspection experience in residential projects.
- Possess people leadership / team leader experience to manage up to 6 staff.
- Have the ability to provide direction and leadership to the team.
- Be able to work under pressure in a professional manner, while possessing a solid level of time management skills.
- Possess attention to detail, problem solving and analytical ability.
- Be responsible and accountable and meet required deadlines, while coordinating the team workflow.
- Have a current and full Driver’s Licence.
