**About the role**:
The successful applicant will report to and provide administrative support to the unit manager and investigators at the Transit Safety Division -Transit Divisional Response Unit, Victoria Police Centre.
The Intelligence Support Officer position provides vital support to crime investigations and the intelligence functions within the Transit Safety Division, Investigation & Response area. The position supports the investigative function by reducing administration tasks undertaken by investigators.

**Your duties will include**:

- Perform a range of office support duties such as data entry, case file uploading, preparation of reports, spreadsheets and database activities.
- Provide monthly reporting and some statistical analysis to the unit manager.
- Undertake filing and record maintenance (hard and soft data formats).
- Develop and maintain good working relationships within the division and liaise in a professional manner with internal and external customers to Victoria Police.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to review and interpret information
- Good conceptual and research skills with the ability to value add to information and identify issues.
- Familiarity with data security, confidentiality, and privacy provisions.
- A proven record of high ethical behaviour and commitment to the Victoria Police Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- The ability to work effectively unsupervised and prioritise work in accordance with Victoria Police Policy.
- Flexibility to work in various locations as required by management, performing a range of administrative duties.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
