**About the role**:
The Intelligence Support Officer position provides vital support to crime investigations within Division Three of Southern Metro Region. Initial duties for this role will be at the Dandenong Multi-Disciplinary Centre, assisting both Dandenong Family Violence Investigations and the Sexual Offences and Child Investigation Team (SOCIT). The position supports the investigative process by reducing administration tasks for investigators.

**Your duties will include**:

- Data entry, case file scanning and uploading and preparation of reports.
- Assisting all office members in the use of various databases.
- Preparation and completion of Monthly snapshot.
- Undertake filing and record maintenance.
- Monitor data quality and management for the unit.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Experience in working with computers and systems to perform a range of administrative tasks including, records management, data entry and word processing tasks.
- Must have the ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work successfully within a team environment and autonomously.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Dandenong Family Violence Investigations and Greater Dandenong SOCIT, based at the Dandenong Multi-Disciplinary Centre. However, you may be expected to work out of any location within Southern Division Three, as required.
