**Brunello Restaurant & Wine Bar, **opened in late 2021 with a brand new CBD location, is fastly becoming one of Canberra's premier destinations and is on the hunt for a passionate Sommelier who can be part of an ever-growing company.

**The Opportunity**

You will be a natural leader and a passionate sommelier who can oversee all wines operations & service and support the Head Sommelier and Venue Manager in the building of an award winning list and management of the business.

Our wine list has been awarded 3 goblets from the Wine List of the Year Award as well as Best New Wine List (Nationally), Best ACT Wine List and Best ACT Wine Listing.
- Your duties will include but not be limited to -_
- Nurturing a positive working environment
- Dealing with suppliers
- Controlling stock levels and minimising wastage
- Cooperating in the management and building of the award winning wine and beverage list (400+ wines including 40 BTG + 40 served by the exclusive Enomatic System)
- Lead and oversee wine service
- Must lead by example
- Meeting and exceeding KPI's and sales targets
- Maintaining safe and clean working conditions
- Working closely with management to ensure all business requirements are met

**Skills and Qualifications**
- **2+** Years of experience in fine-dining / upper casual venues
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in wine service, beverage and cellar management
- Have a Wine qualification (WSET level 3 and/or Intro (or higher) CMS certificate) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have computer skills and general knowledge of POS and Booking Systems
- Accountable and reliable
- Can-do attitude with the ability to act efficiently and resiliently
- Proactive in approach
- Ability to build and nurture healthy relationships with employees, customers and suppliers
- Great energy, fun and vibrant personality
- Immaculate grooming

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 40/45 per week

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
