Lead Suncorp’s Change and Communications stream of work within the Bank Transition Program, supporting project execution with the design and delivery of robust change and communication strategies. This role will enable the successful completion of the sale of Suncorp Bank and the successful transition of Suncorp Group Limited into a standalone Trans-Tasman insurer.

Reporting to the Executive Transition Director, this is a key position that will navigate change and communication requirements across three major parties and within a program of work containing more than 10 streams of work. You will help shape the strategic narrative for the program and engage across a broad set of stakeholders to ensure a successful transition to a new Bank model in 2024.

You will also work closely with Technology teams to support change and release plans that impact Suncorp at a Group level, ensuring the right stakeholders are appropriately engaged and enabled to support the planned changes.

In addition this role plays a pivotal part influencing a positive and constructive culture within the bank transition program, bringing team members together and ensuring continuity of messaging and engagement.

**What you’ll do**
- Progressively define and develop the Change and Communications practice ensuring the right tools, frameworks and standards are identified, implemented and embedded
- Lead a team of Change and Communication team members
- Establish strong connections with the delivery teams to enable the frictionless integration of ways-of-working, methods and tools
- Lead the design and delivery of robust change management strategies, supporting successful project and program delivery
- Review and approve change readiness and success measures, actively inspect achievement of project outcomes against objectives, cross pollinate key learning’s and best practices
- Lead the bank transition change program to achieve transformational ways of working, focused on improving the speed, efficiency and agility of our delivery practices
- Bring thought leadership, strategic development and influencing to define and implement an enhanced delivery methodology to enable more nimble and efficient delivery

**Qualifications**
- Change and Communications experience at a senior level (mandatory)
- Financial Services industry experience (mandatory)
- Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience in project and portfolio change management and communications
- Proven track record of working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong people leadership experience and a proven track record in leading high performing teams
