Our client is an **ASX-listed leader** in the **Australian energy sector**, is renowned for its comprehensive operations in refining, supplying, and marketing high-quality fuel and lubricants. With a state-of-the-art refinery and an extensive network of service stations, this company is at the forefront of delivering innovative energy solutions across retail, commercial, and aviation industries.
They currently have a unique opportunity for an **experienced Property Finance Analyst** to join their high-performing team and support their retail business in Melbourne.
12-month contract with a possibility to extend
**Details As Follows**:
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Location**: Inner CBD | Flexible WFH
**Assignment Length**: 12-month contract, with potential to extend
**Pay Rate**: $40-45 p/h + super (depending on experience)
**Visa**: PR/Citizen or working rights valid for at least 12 months.
**Main Duties**:
- Providing critical financial operations including accounts payments and accounts receivable.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of payment and charge batch processing
- Liaising with the property manager and property administration team
- Handling reconciliation of Council rates, land tax matters, and land reconciliation processes.
- Oversee all fixed payments and maintain updates in the Yardi system
- Assisting the team with arrers and accrued payments, and any ad-hoc duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Background in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years experience in accounts receivable and payable, arrears and accrued payments
- Exeprience as a Property Accountant or Property Analyst position (**Preferred**)
- Proven record of strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of property and leasing management (**Preferred**)
- Working knowledge of JDE and Yardi (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Be a collaborative team player
