The Property Analyst is a key member of the Property Services team at RMIT University, responsible for providing expert valuation and analytical services to support the university's property portfolio.

Reporting to the Director - Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough valuations and feasibility studies to inform property-related decisions
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze property market trends and risks
  • Providing expert advice on property economics, finance, and market knowledge to support business development and investment decisions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize property-related projects and initiatives
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure the university's property portfolio remains optimized and compliant
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in property valuation, finance, and economics, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a commercial real estate sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Proficiency in property valuation and modeling software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • A strong understanding of the Australian property market, with a focus on the Victorian market
