**About the role**:
Victoria Police is currently advertising one (1) x Full Time, ongoing, Intelligence Support Officer position within Southern Metro Region, Division One. The role provides an office-based support function to the Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit (CIU), located at the Prahran Police Complex. The successful applicant will utilise various Victoria Police databases to create, update and complete a broad variety and high volume of investigation case files to assist the work unit. The role also includes monthly reporting of statistical data and preparation of spreadsheets for management and the completion, recording and archiving of hardcopy investigation case files.

**Your duties will include**:

- High volume of data entry, investigation case file creation and updating.
- Extensive use of Victoria Police case management systems.
- Assisting all office members in the use of various databases when required.
- Preparation and completion of monthly reporting-snapshot.
- Undertaking reviews of completed investigation files to ensure all entities are recorded and linked appropriately for filling and long-term storage.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Good computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to perform tasks within specific time frames.
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team and autonomously.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to perform a range of administration duties.
- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to review and interpret information.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at the Prahran Police Complex 396 Malvern Road, Prahran, Vic, 3181.
