**About the role**

We are seeking a QA specialist to join our Operational team.

QA is an integral function of our business as our brand continues to grow nationally and within the Export Market. We are focused on continuing to build the quality function to ensure we continue to provide great tasting products and meet all of our governance principles.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Developing and Updating Product Specifications
- developing labels and maintenance of label data base
- Work closely with the Production team leader & team members on the production line to ensure compliance to our Quality Systems at all times.
- Ensuring compliance across food safety & quality requirements such as HACCP, Export standards
- Coordinate regular feedback meetings and work collaboratively with others to implement QA framework where necessary.
- Management and updating of product hygiene and cleaning plans by line and equipment.
- undertake regular walk throughs of manufacturing plant to be proactive, set QA behaviour expectations amongst team members.
- Establish and monitor strong quality governance and controls within the production line for all products being manufactured.
- Completing internal audits and risk assessments
- Completing customer and regulatory external audit requirements.
- Facilitate staff Training in HACCP, GMP, Foreign Bodies, Allergens and Food Fraud as part of our food safety program
- Ensure Corrective Action reporting and closing out of all NCR's
- Maintain quality-related data (e.g. testing, reviews) for analysis and reporting in accordance to QA framework.
- Maintenance of approved supplier program
- Document and complete Mock Recalls Traceability exercise, label reviews as required annually
- Completing suppliers documentation and carrying out supplier audits
- responding to customer complaints using appropriate rationale, referencing methodologies to clearly reconcile matters.
- be well versed to enter robust discussions with other QA counterparts.
- possess clear reasoning skills to demonstrate in a practical manner to ensure all stakeholders understand the value in such QA recommendations.
- Coordinate and be able to capture actions to launch new products and other R & D opportunities.

**Skills and experience**
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Sound communication skills, both written and verbal
- exposure in identifying appropriate controls within production line.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational and planning skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work well under deadlines.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pendle hill, NSW 2145: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
