**The Role**

We are seeking a hospitality professional with a passion for service to join our Team as **Front Office Manager** on a **full time**basis.

In this hands on Head of Department role you will manage the front office and housekeeping functions of the property. You hold the following primary responsibilities:

- Ensure the smooth running of the front office & housekeeping departments including emergency management when required
- Provide outstanding and personalised service to Guests at every interaction, ensure the team also take every opportunity to create memorable experiences
- Lead, motivate and supervise team members with a truly kind approach which fosters high performance and engagement
- Support the departments with a hands on approach - this includes participating in all tasks within the front office and housekeeping such as check in, check out, amenities, responding to enquiries, pre-arrival calls, cleaning of rooms, room checking, public areas, allocations
- Manage the Employee Life Cycle, including but not limited to recruitment, selection, on boarding, training and continuous development including managing performance through the annual review process and adhoc discussions
- Monitor and respond to Guest reviews ensuring trends and areas of opportunity are identified and action plans implement to enhance the Guest Experience
- Complete all administration requirements of the departments including but not limited to reporting, stock take and ordering, rosters
- Liaise with all other departments to ensure a seamless Guest Experience is delivered and areas for personalised service are identified
- Handle guest complaints efficiently, with dignity and respect for both the guest and the Accor name.

**About You**
- A rooms division professional with Assistant Manager level operational Front Office or Housekeeping experience of at least 1 year
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a team
- A vibrant, and outgoing personality driven to engage with guests and ensure they have a memorable stay
- Demonstrated experience in implementing initiatives to achieve departmental targets
- Computer savvy with well-developed Microsoft office skills and use of specialised property management systems
- Flexibility to work a varied roster including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Hold a valid NSW RSA
