As our leader for Data Management, Data Science and Analytics, your role is critical to our business mission - we are transforming ways that healthcare can be delivered through being data driven, enabling collaborative, connected and intelligent care.

You will lead the teams who define and architect our data capabilities. Your teams collaborate.

Your work is strategic, it conceptualises BPM’s global role with respect to data anatomy and interoperability. Your work is also technically focused on implementing data as infrastructure and services within the BPM platform. This encompasses the governance of data as records or components or records and the sharing of data with collaborators and systems in the execution of healthcare pathways.

You and your team must collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Your peers are leaders in clinical informatics, design, architecture, product management, software engineering, and regulatory compliance. Your external stakeholders are customers, healthcare industry organisations, health-tech innovators, investors and partner organisations. You must ensure that BPMs approach and credentials are known, differentiated, respected, and sought out within these communities.

Overview of Your Responsibilities

The BPM DM, SC, and Analytics Leader is responsible to:

- Lead the practice
- Develop the technical strategy and detailed implementation plan for BPMs data infrastructure, which includes:

- The structuring of healthcare data - clinical and administrative
- The structuring of BPMs ‘clinical blocks’ - the basic units for healthcare information to be captured, stored and exchanged
- Data enrichment approaches, including use of semantic ontologies and terminology engines
- Data storage and governance, including BPMs compliance with EHR standards across our regions of operation
- Data interoperability, including the standards incorporated in our approach to data exchange between people, systems and devices
- The infrastructure implemented, including databases, storage, data hubs.
- The process and tooling defining the data pipeline for our operational use cases

Your Skills and Attributes
- Personal Style - You’re perceptive, empathetic, self aware and curious, with a natural ability to observe, listen, ask why
- You’re expert with Semantic Web technologies (RDF/s, OWL), query languages (SPARQL) and validation/reasoning standards (SHACL, SPIN)
- And fleshing out the above, you have:

- Proven skills in data retrieval and data research techniques
- Ability to communicate knowledge-based requirements and needs to engineering, product and customer service teams
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and communicate them to stakeholders understandably
- Proven track record of strong communication and interpersonal skills o Knowledge of open-source and commercial ontology engineering editors (e.g. Protege, TopQuadrant products, PoolParty)
- Competent with schema-level constructs (e.g. higher-order classes, punning, property inheritance)
- Proficient with SQL, NoSQL, and Graph database modeling and

management tools
- Familiar with data science and/or machine learning, including graph embeddings
- Skills in areas pertinent to embedding semantic data models into the culture and practice of technology teams - program management, product development, UX design, micro-services software engineering, ML/AI, database design and administration, quality assurance, security, governance, agile development practices

Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in data architecture, information management or similar field, with post grad credentials appreciated
- Healthcare domain expertise and experience with either healthcare oganisations or enterprise software vendors.
- Professional data management certification, such as CSA or MCSE preferred - 5+ years’ experience in semantic data architecture, analysis or engineering - Proven ability to work in distributed systems
- Knowledge of CPG supply chain will be favoured
- Expert knowledge of diverse database architectures (centralized and distributed, homogenous and heterogenous, etc)
- Expert knowledge in database and information modeling (ER, Dimensional, physical, logical, hierarchical, semantic, etc.)
- Expert in database and schema design and translation to implementation. - Knowledge of physical data architecture (cloud, scalable, and distributed systems)- Deep familiarity with Data Governance, Master Data Management, and metadata management
- Strong understanding of policies and requirements for data privacy and security
