Due to an internal promotion of our current Trade Marketing Manager to JDE’s headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a new Trade Marketing Manager or Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team
Your goal will be to convince people at the point of purchase to buy our products, by collaborating with our sales, marketing, and category teams. You will be based in our North Sydney office, where we currently have a hybrid work policy (3 days a week WFO, 2 days a week WFH). You will be responsible for Shopper Marketing within our Australian market and develop and execute a strategy to be the best-in-class.

In this role, you will:
- Take responsibility for our strategic category development and participate in target-setting processes and customer (Coles and Woolworths) meetings
- Lead and champion Operational Excellence
- Lead the proposal of new promotional activity to increase our promotional effectiveness and sales, and analyse our post-campaign results
- Be the bridge between our sales, marketing, and category teams
- Share best practices and align with global and regional JDE Trade Marketing teams

For this role as a Trade Marketing Manager / Shopper Marketing Manager / Shopper Activation Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Previous sales and e-commerce experience
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in a similar shopper / trade marketing role in which you have been responsible for defining and rolling out the shopper marketing strategy
- FMCG market knowledge
- You’re a strong negotiator and highly analytical
- You ideally have experience with information system tools such as Quantium, IRI and SAP
- You have valid Australian work rights
