Expanding and dynamic clinic, fast-paced environment for a an experienced Clinic Coordinator.
THE ROLE- Full time permanent position- Salary range between $65,900-$67,340 per annum plus 10.5% superannuation
We are seeking an
_Clinical Trials and Oncology_). You will contribute to a high-quality patient experience and support clinicians in running an efficient and professional practice. The role requires a firm commitment to excellent customer service and patient-centred care.
There is some opportunity for flexible work arrangements within our clinic.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Schedule and communicate instructions for patient appointments, follow-up visits, and procedures.- Manage and resolve any patient complaints and feedback, and working with the Clinical Trials Manager as needed to ensure consistently optimal service.- Manage daily business and administrative operations of the clinic, including handling patient registration, referrals, and billing processes- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.- Manage inventory of medical and office supplies to ensure availability and optimal clinic operation.- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other MQ Health staff and teams as relevant, including clinical trials and allied health staff working at the clinic.- Liaise with external healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient coordination and care.- Supervise clinic administrative and reception staff including trainees if and when required.- Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.- Ensure accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system, preserving confidentiality, and privacy of all patient information and records.- Liaise with other clinics, hospitals, and allied health professionals to acquire comprehensive patient information and provide exceptional patient coordination.- Perform any other duties as directed.
About You
You will be a professional individual poised for progression in your career. You will have previous reception and administration experience in the medical industry and will have experience with or an aptitude for, supporting and mentoring junior colleagues. You will have well-developed experience using health-related software packages, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing patients with excellent customer service in every interaction. You will possess exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills when prioritising and managing workloads- Previous experience working in a medical practice and knowledge of medical terminology- Demonstrated experience using electronic practice management systems (such as Odyssey or Genie or Best Practice)- Previous experience in supervising staff- Understanding of and experience with Australian health insurance schemes and patient billing arrangements- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills while maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism- Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, eliciting cooperation and working effectively with a range of stakeholders.- Taking initiative and capacity for creativity, innovation and continuous improvement- Ability to work in collaboration and effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals- Commitment to uphold and be a steward of the Mission, Vision and Values of MQ Health.
