The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.

**Duties**
The Procurement Projects and Governance Officer is responsible for delivering the full life cycle of procurement services for the Department’s transport infrastructure projects. The role is accountable to the Manager, Procurement for providing procurement and management support, and for the delivery and compliance of the Departments Civil Construction and Procurement framework, policies and processes in order to enable the delivery of procurement and wider organisational objectives.

The incumbent will work across the transport infrastructure portfolio to ensure that adequate governance and management controls are in place to mitigate procurement and project risks and to optimise value for money, commercial, strategic and economic outcomes for the State and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and continuously improve the area’s procurement framework, policies and processes.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months

**Remuneration**
ASO6 - $97,022 to $102,626 per annum
