**About the branch**

The Corporate Services branch provides critical strategic and operational support services to ensure the continual success and advancement of the VGSO. Balancing an appreciation of the complexities and nuances of the public sector, along with the requirements of operating in a competitive legal services environment, Corporate Services delivers proactive, effective and efficient services to VGSO's internal and external clients. Functions within Corporate Services include but are not limited to; Finance, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), People and Culture, Knowledge Management and Business Support and Administration.

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our ICT Team for 12 months as IT Support Analyst who will contribute to the VGSO strategic plan and provide ongoing help desk support to VGSO staff, IT projects and initiatives.

The position also provides high quality website, intranet and portal administration support to VGSO stakeholders and external clients, and adding value to the VGSO's web assets through researching and recommending new technologies and trends focusing on market changes. Key responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst role include:

- Provide timely and professional IT helpdesk support to VGSO staff
- Identify and escalate incidents
- Be part of the team rotational after hours service
- Setting up new user accounts
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding web assets and updating as required
- Assist other IT team members to research and resolve IT problems

**Skills and experience**

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a similar IT support role. You will be experienced in working with a Content Management System (CMS) and have the ability to use initiative to identify systems and processes requiring improvement.

We are looking for an applicant who has excellent communication skills, is committed to service excellence, is a team player and has strong analytical and conceptual skills with an aptitude to problem solve in a busy and dynamic working environment.
It will be highly regarded if applicants have prior experience in a legal or professional services environment supporting a practice management solution, such as Elite 3E, although not necessary.
