Perth Childrens Hospital Foundation are the main fundraising body and largest private funder of Perth Children’s Hospital and the wider Child and Adolescent Health Service in Western Australia. Our purpose is to fuel the fight on the frontline to help children get well and stay well.

Perth Childrens Hospital Foundation is currently seeking to appoint an experienced
**Executive Officer** in what is a newly created role, reporting directly to the CEO.
The Executive Officer will provide high level executive, secretariat and, operational support to the CEO and Board. This includes providing strategic advice, overseeing the implementation of strategic plans, managing executive communications, creating project plans and executive briefs, contributing to the resolution of complex and sensitive issues, and providing an executive contact point for internal and external stakeholders.
**You day to day will include but not be limited to**:
- Function as a point of contact for the CEO, consult with stakeholders both internal and external and action requests, coordinate communications, and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines.
- Coordinate, monitor, and report on strategic, operational and project plans and planning cycles to inform decision making and support achievement of organisational strategy and objectives.
- Support in the proactive management of the CEO’s schedule against strategic and operational priorities, coordinating activities and providing oversight of the office of CEO.
- Secretariat for governance arrangements for board, sub-committees and project working groups.
- Support to progress and implement Board and Committee decisions in consultation with CEO and CFO/Company Secretary.
- Develop and oversee the implementation and evaluation of administrative and operational practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes.
- Other projects and support as required by the CEO.

**To be successful in the role you should ideally have**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in a similar role successfully delivering outcomes for the Executive Office.
- The capacity to develop and foster effective relationships with a broad range of people at various levels, both within and outside the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously, with an elevated level of maturity and ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to research, monitor, synthesise complex information, and recommend practical solutions to problems.
- Initiative and a proactive approach to managing work activities with the ability to manage competing demands with sound judgement and poise.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills with superior attention to detail.
