An exciting ongoing opportunity exists for a Manager - Asset Data and Information to join the NSW Telco Authority, a rapidly growing part of Digital.NSW within the Department of Customer Service.

In this role you will maintain and improve all NSWTA asset data environment aspects. The role also works with key stakeholders to embed best practice solutions to achieve high levels of data quality and completeness to equip NSWTA with a solid platform of asset data and information that informs sound business decisions.

You will be joining a friendly, fast-paced, dynamic and diverse team who is passionate about keeping people and places safe.

The role sits within the Enterprise and Business Operations team of NSW Telco Authority.

**In this role you will**:

- Build on existing the master data processes and data hierarchy within the NSWTA Asset Management space that align with the requirements of ISO 55001, the Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector TPP19-07 and \NSW Government data management policies.
- Work towards achieving future state data requirements aligned to ISO55001 and consistent with TPP19-07
- Determine the current and future state Asset Management data reporting requirements and further establish Asset Management analytics and reporting capability to support the uplift in overall NSWTA data environment
- Support and provide input to further development of organisational Master Data Management Capabilities, Data Governance structures, and Data and Analytics Strategies to support organisational objectives
- Manage system enhancements to multiple systems to enable the accurate capture of data.
- Resolve the transition of data from the managed network service provider operational systems to NSW Telco Authority’s systems
- Identify and manage risks associated with asset data management operations and ensure capture, monitoring and mitigation where practicable
- Manage a team of data management professionals working towards achieving and maintaining compliance with the Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector TPP19-07 in asset data and information, asset governance and frameworks and work to identify and address shortcomings in data management systems and processes

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Significant data team management experience within the telecommunications industry or similar relevant environment.
- Well developed people leadership and management skills
- Highly advanced data management and analytical skills
- Ability to strategically think develop plans for data driven environments to optimise efficiency and value
- Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders both within and outside NSWTA

This is a Grade 11/12 role, with the salary starting at $134,411 base, plus superannuation + leave loading + accrued flex leave + continuous professional development opportunities.
