Project Officer, Government Advertising

As Project Officer, Government Advertising, you will play a key role in supporting the Government Advertising and Communication Committee (GACC) Secretariat, which is responsible for governance of advertising approval across whole-of-government.

The Project Officer will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to provide strategic advice and provide support in all areas of Government Advertising.

Using your demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including strong attention to detail, you will support the delivery of whole-of-government advertising campaigns through:

- reviewing advertising campaign submissions
- reporting on whole-of-government advertising expenditure and
- monitoring advertising activity across government.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Coordinate administrative activities including organising fortnightly GACC meetings and documentation including agendas, minutes, records of decisions and action items.
- Coordinate the annual advertising plan review process across government and compile overarching annual plan.
- Research and consider advertising and media trends, analysing data in order to identify and report on opportunities or risks associated with government advertising.
- Liaise with representatives from the division, the department, and other relevant government agencies on advertising review processes and guidelines.
- Build and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Prepare researched briefing notes, reports, policy documents and correspondence on government advertising matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of government advertising processes in conjunction with the team.
