The role In this role, you will align with Queensland Health's core values while serving as an expert advisor for the Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO).

Your responsibilities include providing insightful analysis and recommendations on governance, records management, finance, and human resource policies.

Collaborating closely with the Deputy Director Business Services Team, you will ensure corporate governance and operational excellence, emphasizing financial accountability.

Additionally, you will facilitate project methodologies, manage communication services, and stay abreast of the latest technologies to enhance communication strategies.

Your role involves effective project management, risk mitigation, and oversight of operational support staff to ensure compliance with contemporary human resources practices, workplace health and safety, ethical behaviour, and anti-discrimination policies.

The successful personTo thrive in this role, you must exhibit a proven comprehension of corporate governance and policy dynamics, particularly in how they impact the execution of substantial state-wide projects within a complex healthcare setting.

Your success will be marked by your ability to distil insights from clinical and professional stakeholders, actively contributing to the operational priorities of the Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO).

Furthermore, you should highlight an understanding of and capability to contribute to records management, financial management, human resource management, and procurement initiatives aligned with Department of Health policies and standards.

Demonstrated project and management skills, including team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and effective coordination to meet tight deadlines, should be evident in your record of accomplishment of achieving sustained and proven outcomes.
