**Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship at Curtin**

The Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship team at Curtin works with students, researchers, alumni, investors, and industry partners to inspire, start and scale entrepreneurial pursuits. Curtin has a successful track record in startup and scale up of technology based businesses. For 10+ years, it has provided training, expertise, infrastructure and direct seed investment to such businesses.

The entrepreneurship team seeks to develop a culture of entrepreneurship at Curtin, deliver entrepreneurship and commercialisation training, stimulate business startup and facilitate scale up of ventures.

**Your new role**

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join us as the key partner to the Director, Entrepreneurship. If you are passionate about fostering innovation, supporting startups, and building a vibrant entrepreneurial community, this is the perfect opportunity for you

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- **Strategic Development: w**ork closely with the Director, Entrepreneurship to develop and grow the Curtin Entrepreneurship portfolio. Influence and advise on existing entrepreneurship and startup support programs.
- **Program Management**:contribute to the management and delivery of key programs including Curtinnovation Awards, Entrepreneur in Residence, Ignition, Accelerate, Kickstart+, and West Tech Fest. Co-design and deliver annual events to showcase Curtin Entrepreneurship's achievements.
- **Mentorship and Support**:provide high-level advice and mentorship to Curtin entrepreneurs at all stages of the business lifecycle. Connect entrepreneurs to further opportunities and facilitate workshops to enhance entrepreneurial skills.
- **Partnerships and Networking**:build relationships with mentors, experienced entrepreneurs, and investors in the broader community. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support the delivery of programs and enhance their reach.
- **Continuous Improvement**:translate research into best practices, refining programs and structures to ensure impactful entrepreneurship education. Lead and support the development of project plans, schedules, and planning processes.
- **Team Support**:provide advice, guidance, and support to team members and interns. Implement systems and processes to measure, update, and report on the impact of Curtin entrepreneurship programming.
