**About the Role**

The Supervisor Terminal Planning supports the daily/weekly/monthly delivery of operational and asset maintenance requirements for the Acacia Ridge and Tennyson Freight Terminals.

Based locally at the Acacia Ridge Terminal the roll will predominately focus on Acacia Ridge and provide assistance to the Tennyson Terminal as required.

The Supervisor Terminal Planning will assist in supporting and delivering the site operational and asset management plan. Included in this role is also the supervision of a small team of Terminal Controllers to ensure contractor movement and asset status are kept up to date and included in the planning of rolling stock movements at all times. This role reports through to the Superintendent.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Delivering sound contractor management across the Terminals through adherence to the Contractor Management Framework.
- Supporting the Acacia Ridge and Tennyson Terminal operational and asset needs to ensure safe and on time running of our operational services.
- Working closely with Pacific National staff, contractors/vendors and external regulatory bodies to adhere to the Terminals legislative and regulatory requirements.
- _ Contract Management_ -** **Work with the infrastructure maintenance team to coordinate all contractor movements and access at the Terminal
- _ Terminal and Asset Management -_** **Work with the local Terminal teams at both Acacia Ridge and Tennyson to raise and triage faults or failures and coordinate initial response in the event of asset failure
- Work closely with the infrastructure maintenance team to integrate the Acacia Ridge Terminal permanently into the business
- Promote an inclusive and proactive working environment where we all work together as a team to deliver and achieve an efficient operational

**About You**

We are looking for a goal-oriented individual who has a passion for outcomes. You will have excellent communication and constantly looking for new and innovative approaches to problems and opportunities, whilst also sharing your skills and knowledge with other team members to boost the overall capability performance within the operational business.

In addition, you’ll be expected to demonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing contractors of various types (rail, electrical, mechanical, civil, professional etc)
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and creating scopes of work, safe work method statements and permits to work.
- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholder
- Significant experience in an Electrical/ Mechanical/ Rail Trade background or equivalent, working in heavy or complex industries
- Current or willing to obtain Construction White Card and Safely Access the Rail Corridor Competency
- Preferred but not essential Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field
- Sound experience in Asset Management System - Maximo preferred
