We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at BRUNOS PIZZA TAKE AWAY & ITALIAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar role.
- Diploma of Hospitality Management, Certificate 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisor.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
- Knowledge of menu planning, food cost control, and inventory management.
- Ability to monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
