**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The IT Program/Project support professional x 3 will be responsible for the day-to-day support and management of the IT/Infrastructure/Networking program and managing 15-20 Project Managers, responsible for governance and resource planning. In addition, you will be responsible for liaising with technology vendors and engineering partners across a multitude of network projects for mining assets across Australia mainly focused on either Queensland or NSW or South Australia. You will have extensive stakeholder engagement and work with cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of 15-20 projects that align with our overall goals and objectives.

**CORE ROLE OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Requirements gathering for infrastructure network engineering project deliverable requests engaging with various project managers, engineers and partners
- Responsible for estimating engineering efforts and work allocations to network engineers to align with project deliverables
- Ensure quality and governance by reviewing processes in place, peer reviews and aligning to project management methods being applied Agile/Waterfall
- Workforce management and planning for cross-skilling opportunities to mitigate the risk of single person failure within the project teams
- Cultivate and collaborate sound working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Manage all verbal and written communications between project team members and technical infrastructure network resources
- Oversee change requests and ensure they are signed off and that all processes are followed to execute timely High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Manage and support critical project escalation points for key stakeholders and engineers within the team
- Day-to-day management of partners and vendors through all phases including scoping, design and implementation of all network projects that are outcome-based scope of work

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in a similar project and/or program support role working on IT/Networking Infrastructure ideally Mining, Oil & Gas, Engineering, and Construction industry clients
- Solid experience translating technical information from technical stakeholders to non-technical business and partner stakeholders.
- Ability to engage and ask the right questions of technical engineers to interpret and translate into verbal and documented communications
- Basic high-level understanding of infrastructure and networking technologies
- Sound knowledge of large complex project delivery and PM methods like Agile & Waterfall

**DESIRABLE SKILLS**
- Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas and the resources sector or other industrial technical services
- Exposure to program management support across managing multiple concurrent IT Infrastructure projects
- Experience with using ServiceNow
- Self-motivated, proactive with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative highly engaged teams
- Exceptional organisation, high-level attention to detail and efficient task delivery management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people to drive performance and client and team outcomes
