Residential Live-in School Boarding House Supervisor

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with a genuine interest in student wellbeing to join our residential Boarding team for an immediate start.

this is a part-time, live-in position of approximately 20 hours per week during the School term with on-site accommodation, utilities and meals provided for as part of the remuneration package.
- The salary package includes the provision of meals and accommodation at the Boarding House throughout the year with meals provided during School term time only and accommodation is provided for the whole year.

Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Boarding, the position involves the care and supervision of students residing in the Boarding House outside of school hours and the school holiday program as rostered.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

- Current First Aid certificate (or the ability to gain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Computer literacy
- Show empathy towards boarders and their particular situation, especially international students and the difficulties of adjusting to a new culture and lifestyle
- A clear understanding of the responsibility involved in the duty of care of staff, students and school property
- Able to show consistency and fairness to all students
- A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.
