**About the Role**
The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. HPI’s may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

**Criteria**:

- Must hold a relevant trade qualification in Marine and ideally dual trade qualified with Outdoor Power Equipment
- Minimum Certificate III in a relevant trade (or equivalent).
- Must hold or be willing to obtain an approved Training and Assessment qualification such as TAE40116.
- Strong connections with industry stakeholders.
- Current trade skills and familiarity with emerging technologies in automotive programs.
- Experience with software, operating systems, and e-learning platforms relevant to training delivery.

**Other criteria**:

- Understanding of adult education challenges, including psychosocial risk management.
- Must be currently eligible to live and work in Australia;
