Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fitness Instructor to join our team at Parramatta City Council. As an expert in aquatic and wellness fitness, you will be responsible for delivering engaging group fitness activities at our community facilities.

You will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based health and wellness group fitness classes to diverse communities.
  • Design and deliver engaging class programs that meet the needs and interests of our customers.
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness and flexibility to participate in classes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new fitness programs and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Australian First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR Certification.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
  • 1-2 years' experience in teaching group fitness classes.
  • Experience working in a busy aquatic or fitness environment.
