**Your New Role**:
Part of the centralised Digital Channels team, the UX Researcher is responsible for understanding user needs and uncovering deep insights that help bring products to life, grow our business and delight our members and customers.

This role is about raising the bar for UX research and customer experience, bringing together stakeholders to align around our member and customer needs, and leading research activities to advocate for new ideas for products and features that deliver to product strategies.

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:

- Lead research strategies to plan, formulate and undertake user research to discover problems, define solutions and validate concepts and prototypes with our customers
- Design and facilitate workshops, user research activities, stakeholder interviews and research critique sessions
- Present research insights and participate in providing best practice feedback and guidance in regular research critiques to ensure consistency and quality outcomes
- Lead user interviews, card sorting and tree jacking exercises in IA research
- Lead conversations, working closely with UX Designers to drive iterations of the IA, wireframing and user experiences
- Provide insights and assist in creating user journeys
- Drive a genuinely, customer centric culture through education, engagement and commitment
- Embed an operationally sustainable system to listen, learn and respond to customer and employee feedback
- Define, deliver and continue to enhance the business unit’s customer value proposition including research and insights

**About You**:

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information and ideas briefly and concisely to stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience practicing UX research, predominately qualitative approaches with standard methods and best practice processes
- Experience undertaking data analysis activities as part of a larger research approach including utilising Analytics (Google Analytics) and Behavioural analytics tools (Hotjar, FullStory, Dynatrace, Qualtrics)
- A strong grasp of quantitative data analysis and statistics, as part of mixed methods approaches
- Considerable experience leading design research methodologies, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and/or customers and using various ideation techniques
