**About the role**

This person is going to be spearheading our flagship learning product HEX ED and will be responsible for creating, maintaining and delivering the product vision and roadmap aligned to our strategic objectives.

We also need someone with exceptional communication skills - you'll be representing HEX to audiences and to global stakeholders, so there's a lot of trust and responsibility in this role You will embody the audacious HEX brand and be ready to work hard, and push boundaries (yours and ours).

**Duties**
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the Product Portfolio of the organisation*Oversight and management of the digital product portfolio, making sure it aligns to overall business strategy
- Communicating with and managing expectations with CEO and executive team and ensuring the team is resourced to deliver goals
- Picking up a new product from ideation to MVP stage and bringing it to life for an incredible user experience.
- Responsible for the planning and build of our new HEX Ed product in conjunction with the product an d engineering team to meet the HEX's strategic objectives.
- Define and contribute to the product roadmap and own the execution of roadmap in collaboration with your team and with insight from user research and observation.
- Develop new product ideas and experimentation plans via brainstorming, market research, customer interviews, discovery processes, and competitive analysis.
- People leadership of the the wider product team through knowledge sharing and maintaining best practices.
- Ideate product enhancements to improve the user experience and support our commercial objectives.
- Work with the marketing and growth team to launch new features, drive adoption and gather needs.
- Oversee and approve the creation of detailed product requirements of new features while building and maintaining team backlog.
- Oversee and approve the translation of concepts to wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications
- Working in and expanding on the design system, including UI and UX elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and more.
- Working with the product and marketing teams to optimise product market fit, and test different go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and internal and external designers to align the marketing and digital user experience.
- Stakeholder management across the C-suite at HEX, as well as our partners (including an advisory board with stakeholders from Atlassian, Seek, major universities and more).
- Support the CEO with capital raising as it pertains to product readiness, features and demonstrations.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- Qualifications in Product Management, Digital User Experience, or Business Analytics desirable
- Experience delivering a tech product from conceptualisation to roll out
- Experience working in a fast paced, scaling start-up environment with lean resources
- Experience in managing key internal relationships at an individual contributor and Management level
- Experience in Project Management or Delivery Management with large complex projects
- Proven ability to drive initiatives through to completion with a strong commitment to the meeting of budget, timeframe and quality requirements
- Working within growing and scaling businesses, and cultural change within a geographically-dispersed multi-cultural environment
- Leadership skills with the ability to lead & manage people - directly and indirectly
- You'll quickly become a brand champion, working within guidelines, and adapting them for various web and mobile channels
- Proficient with software and design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and the Atlassian suite of products
- You'll have a digital portfolio highlighting experience with responsive design.
- Knowledge of UX design principles and ability to improve an experience for an existing digital product including gathering and incorporating user insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Be ready to build your network, fast.
- 5-7 years experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role with technology products
