Food Service Assistant

Contemporary Catering provides specialist catering services into Aged Care facilities of the highest standard. We have several exciting job opportunities available for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Aged Care catering team as Food Service Assistants.
The role of a Food Service Assistant in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding. We cater in many locations across Victoria and have positions available across all Melbourne Metro regions in suburbs from Frankston to Fawkner and everywhere in between
Casual roles are currently available in Slacks Creek.
We are looking for people with afternoon shift availability, with the ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- PM Shifts (4pm - 7.30pm) across all 7 days
**As a Food Service Assistant, you will be required to**:
- provide high customer service to residents when serving meals
- assist with basic food preparation
- set up for meal service and clean down afterwards
Some hospitality experience will be highly valued along with a certificate in food safety. It is mandatory for anyone working in Aged Care to complete and hold a National Police Check or an NDIS Worker Screening Check, be fully vaccinated (including the booster) for COVID-19 and the current year influenza vaccination.
