Applications are invited for suitably qualified and enthusiastic Medical Practitioners to join our team as a **General Medicine Advanced Trainee** in **General Medicine** for the 2024 Clinical Year (commencing **February 2024**).

***About the department**:
As part of the Central Northwest Physician Training Consortium, Austin Health and Northern Health have approximately 27 positions available across their campuses plus an additional three positions at Mercy Health **(Obs-Med position will be advertised separately)**, Warringal Private Hospital and Alice Springs Hospital. We offer a great range of rotations including a wide range of specialty terms to general medical advanced trainees.

Successful applicants may work between Austin Health, Northern Health, Mercy Health and Warringal Private Hospital to provide a broad range of experiences and learning opportunities.

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels
- Have a current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - (note - eligible applicants will be assisted through this process if not currently registered)
