**ITS Supervisor - Intelligent Transport Systems in Western Sydney/ Parklands Region**

**Position Overview**: As an ITS Supervisor specializing in traffic signaling, you will play a pivotal role in managing technicians and maintaining our traffic signal systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of traffic signal equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the seamless functioning of our traffic signaling infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Oversight**: Manage the installation, and maintenance of traffic signal systems, including traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and signal timing controllers.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance to technicians involved in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of traffic signal systems.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols governing traffic signaling operations.
- **Project Management**: Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan and execute traffic signaling projects, including system maintenance & upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
- **Training and Development**: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in traffic signaling technology and operations.
- **Emergency Response**: Coordinate emergency response efforts related to traffic signaling equipment malfunctions or failures, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal disruption to traffic flow.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in traffic engineering, ITS, or transportation systems management, with a focus on traffic signaling.
- Strong technical knowledge of traffic signal equipment, control systems, and signal timing optimization techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing traffic signaling operations
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in traffic signaling systems.
